Welcome to a new feature of Internet . Ihe last few weeks I’ve been in contact with a few friends from Cracked and the other sites I write for. Basically this feature will function like the ever popular emails I used to launch my site 3 years ago, only instead of exchanges with people who hate me and can’t spell, they’ll be exchanges with people who hate me and can spell.
This weeks it’s Kathy Benjamin. One of Cracked’s most prolific writers and the person who inspired me to start writing in the first place, we were discussing her new book. Enjoy!
A few weeks ago I gave people the chance to read an extract from my book, which you can still totally do if you want to. Someone decided to take this as a chance to tell me how much I sucked. Leaving me with the challenge of actually obtaining a decent quote about it, I think I succeeded. Continue reading
It’s taken two years of work, but I’ve finally completed the totally (very soon) for sale version of my blog. Below is all the information you could ever want about it. Including how you can get a free copy and a sneak peek at the new content.
Basically, Internet Adventures the book is done!
Which means among other things I need artwork, which is where everyone reading this comes in, I’m offering a prize fund of 50 dollars for anyone who can produce the most fitting piece of cover artwork. However, if interest in this contest exceeds expectations the prize fund will increase to 75 dollars. Details are below.
I started yet another project last month, with the title you see above. The basic premise is to take note of, or do, one thing of interest every single day, then record it. It sounds confusing, so it’s easier to describe it as a diary I want people to read, with less talk of which boys I want to kiss and more guitar solos. Below is an excerpt.
Here’s a section from my book, which as of today is half written. It’s perhaps one of my favourite exchanges.
Here is another section from my still in progress book, this is my attempt to be a male model. Continue reading
The following is a previously unpublished email exchange between myself and my bank, it is quoted in full from my still in progress book. Continue reading
I recently began work on my next project, an article for a real life book that is going to be published by the wonderful people over at Wordplague. The book is focussed on sex and all the depraved and humorous things that go with it.
My personal contribution will be focussed on how various places around the world censor your favourite body parts and how you can effectively show a wang on TV and get away with it if you follow the right rules. I have no idea whether or not this is of any interest to anyone reading it, so here is a picture I drew of a monster going to the dentist.
